On board at Expedition  ARCTIC OCEAN RAPTOR – North Exploration
Constantin has been the skipper for the last 10 years of several 29 – 40 feet sail boats – mostly chartered along the California Pacific coast in areas such as San Francisco Bay, Monterey Bay, Long Beach, Catalina island, and San Diego. He also holds a Private Pilot license with instrument rating, which gives him a lot of experience in navigation and weather forecasting.

He will serve as the Meteorology Officer on board the Arctic Ocean Raptor Expedition and is responsible for all weather advisory on board. He will relay and analyze wind and weather forecasts 400 miles away from the next coastline in the middle of the North Polar Sea. This is a region where it is normal that you find sunny calm seas and snowstorms with 11 Bft of wind within the hour.
